Dusky
Our beautiful 16-year-old black cat who crossed the rainbow bridge in our arms. His long, graceful life reminds us every day of the quiet, deep companionship we work to secure for all elderly animals.
For 24 years, rescuing animals hasn't just been a passion—it's been a way of life. We step up for the ones nobody else wants. From fur to feathers to scales, welcome to the family.
Our work is fueled by heavy heartaches and beautiful victories. We proudly dedicate everything we do here to the memory and success of our guiding stars:
Our beautiful 16-year-old black cat who crossed the rainbow bridge in our arms. His long, graceful life reminds us every day of the quiet, deep companionship we work to secure for all elderly animals.
Our brave 9-year-old Terrier Doodle who gave us one final, unforgettable hug before we freed him from his difficult battle with doggy dementia. His bravery is at the core of our commitment to special-needs animals.
An abandoned, severely matted poodle stray found running wild. After a painstaking 5-hour shave and rehabilitation, he spent 3 loving years with Dobby before finding his perfect forever home with Sandra, where he now lives as a pampered prince in dapper bow ties.
Life happens, situations change, and sometimes taking care of a pet becomes overwhelming. If you have an animal you can no longer care for—whether it is a tiny mouse, a parrot, a dog, a cat, or a reptile—we will take them in with zero questions asked.
There is no shame, no guilt, and no lecture here. If you cannot get to us, we will arrange a local pickup. We only care about helping you and keeping the animal safe.
From rehabilitation and strictly isolated intake areas to wildlife coordination, we support creatures of every description.
We specialize in animals that need a little (or a lot) of rehabilitation, medical care, patience, and love. We don't turn away behavioral cases or complex medical conditions.
To protect our current rescue residents and the community, all incoming animals go immediately into our dedicated, completely isolated quarantine area.
Found a wild animal in distress? Don't panic. Reach out to us, and we will act as the liaison to safely secure them and coordinate with licensed local wildlife rehabilitators.
Initiate a surrender request, request support, or ask questions. We respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.
You can reach us directly via email. For urgent surrenders or welfare concerns, please write “URGENT” in the subject line.
